Vanna discovered Pilates in her early-twenties when she developed a lower back pain from wearing 3-inch (or higher!) heels to her corporate job, and even staying in the same shoes on regular night outs. Upon starting weekly Pilates classes, the pain disappeared and as they say, the rest is history.

One of the things Vanna enjoys about Pilates is the focus on body alignment and engagement of specific muscle groups for each movement. The emphasis on lengthening and moving the spine also helps with posture correction and is extremely beneficial for her scoliosis.

As an instructor, Vanna hopes that her clients can too discover the magic of Pilates, be it achieving greater mobility, building strength or having better body awareness.
